The 22nd CAF awards was held in Lagos Nigria today at the Eko Convention Centre!
Awards and Nomination highlights the events below but before then, you need to know who won what, It's no surprise that Nigeria won 6 Awards; which includes coach of the year, most promising talent, Fair play award, platinum award and as well as 3 of her national team players making the CAF eleven to be coached by the Nigerian Coach and CAF Coach of the Year Steven Keshi.
* CAF Fair Play Award: Nigerian Supporters
* Coach Of The Year: Steven Keshi of the Super Eagles
* Most Promising Talent Award: Kelechi Iheahanacho
* Referee Of The Year: Haimoudi Djamel
* CAF Legends: Bruno Metsu and Jose Faria
* African Player Of the Year based In Africa: Mohamed AbouTreika
* CAF Platinum Awards: President Goodluck Jonathan Of Nigeria. This award is given to the individual that has contributed the most to the development of the sport in Africa.

And the winner is - Yaya Toure!
And He said: " I'm happy and glad for winning this, I also congratulate my Brother John mikel Obi who also deserve to win this, and thanks to my family, my teammates and everyone who made this happen".
The #gloCAFAwards was entertaining all through the night with a fusion of attendance from the music, politics, football and the entertainment world all gathered under one roof.
Congratulations to The Etihad man on his winning his and 3rd CAF african player of the year Award and A BBC double, I think 2013 was a year of Double Portion for him!

- Fair Play Award goes to the Nigerian football supporters and Rafiu Ladipo proudly receives the award on behalf of his organisation
- Back to some more entertainment - Lagbaja, the masked one, is on now with the African talking drums and a lot of energy on stage. When it comes soccer, Nigeria na we be the first... blasts Lagbaja
- Club of the Year - Al Ahly, Orlando Pirates and CS Sfaxien.
And the winners are Ahly, who won their eighth CAF Champions League
- Next are the National Youth Teams of the Year. Nigeria's Golden Eaglets are the only nominees and Nigeria are on to a fine run at these awards already
- Nigeria scoop their first award of the night and NFF president Maigari receives it
- The first award category is the National team of the Year and it will be presented by Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantayi, Edo Governor Oshomole. The nominees areNigeria, Burkina Faso and Ethiopia
